Our Mission

At 1TOOLS, our mission is to make complex tasks easy and accessible for everyone. Whether you're a developer, student, or just someone who needs a quick solution, we strive to provide powerful, intuitive tools that save you time and effort. We believe in empowering users with the right resources to tackle any challenge — from securing data to transforming information across formats.

Every tool here exists because it solves a problem we kept running into ourselves: needing to decode a token, convert a unit, or generate a password without hunting through a page cluttered with pop-ups, or pasting sensitive data into a server we don't control.

Who Builds 1TOOLS

1TOOLS is developed and maintained by iKompoz — an independent software studio. Our other products include Lernka — an AI-powered learning app. We build and maintain everything we ship, which means 1TOOLS is not an ad-farm side project, but something we use ourselves and keep working.

How Your Data Is Handled

This is the part we care most about, so it is worth being precise: every tool on this site runs entirely inside your browser. Your input is processed on your own device. Nothing you type is uploaded, stored, or logged.

That means when you hash a file, decrypt a message, or decode a token containing real credentials, the data never leaves your computer. There is a simple way to see this for yourself: load any tool, disconnect from the internet, and keep using it. It will carry on working, because there was never anything to send.

We do use Google Analytics and Google AdSense, which is how the site stays free. Those collect usage and advertising data as described in our privacy policy — and you control them from the cookie settings link in the footer. They never receive the contents of the tools themselves.

What's Inside: The Full Toolset

25 tools across 5 categories. Here is what each group actually supports.

Conversion — nine converters

Length, weight, temperature, energy, velocity, and number bases, plus colors, dates, and images. The unit converters handle metric, imperial, and traditional units side by side — millimeters through nautical miles, milligrams through imperial tons — with configurable decimal precision, optional scientific notation, and trailing zero trimming. The number converter moves values between any two bases from 2 to 36, including negative and fractional values, and very large integers keep every digit rather than drifting the way they can in a spreadsheet.

The color converter translates between HEX, RGB, HSL, HSV, and CMYK and reports WCAG contrast ratios against a background, with the AA and AAA verdict. The date tool converts Unix timestamps to readable dates and back across time zones, detecting whether a number is in seconds, milliseconds, microseconds, or nanoseconds, and measures the span between two dates. The image converter moves between PNG, JPEG, and WebP, resizes, compresses, rotates, and crops — in batches, and without uploading anything.

Encoding & Encryption — three tools

Base64 and URL percent-encoding in both directions, including the URL-safe Base64 alphabet, optional padding, and data URIs. Text is handled as UTF-8 rather than latin1, so emoji and non-Latin scripts encode correctly instead of failing, and files up to 10 MB can be encoded or decoded back to a download. Symmetric encryption and decryption with AES, DES, Triple DES, RC4, RC4Drop, and Rabbit. And a full JWT tool that decodes header and payload, verifies signatures, and signs new tokens across the HMAC (HS256/384/512), RSA (RS256/384/512), ECDSA (ES256/384/512), and RSA-PSS (PS256/384/512) families.

Calculation — cryptographic hashing

MD5, SHA-1, the SHA-2 family (SHA-224 through SHA-512), the SHA-3 family (SHA3-224 through SHA3-512), RIPEMD-160, and CRC-8, CRC-16, and CRC-32 checksums, over text or a file. Digests can be shown as hexadecimal or Base64, every algorithm can be computed at once when you have a hash but do not know which produced it, and a published checksum can be pasted in to verify a download directly. Keyed HMAC digests are available for the MD5, RIPEMD-160, SHA-1, and SHA-2 algorithms.

Generation — four generators

Passwords with configurable length and character sets, built from a cryptographically secure source of randomness — not the predictable kind that makes generated passwords guessable. GUIDs/UUIDs for application identifiers. QR codes with adjustable size and error correction. Barcodes across common retail and logistics symbologies.

Text — eight utilities

A formatter for adjusting spacing and letter case, including the programmer conventions — camelCase, PascalCase, snake_case, kebab-case, and CONSTANT_CASE — which convert between each other rather than only from prose, with live counts of words, characters, sentences, paragraphs, and reading time. A Lorem Ipsum generator for placeholder content.

Formatters for JSON, XML, and CSV that beautify, minify, and check structure, reporting syntax errors by line and column. The JSON tool also sorts keys and generates TypeScript interfaces from a sample document; the CSV tool converts to and from JSON and handles quoted commas, embedded newlines, and semicolon or tab delimiters.

A regular expression tester with live match highlighting, capture groups, flag toggles, a replacement preview, and a syntax cheat sheet. And a compare tool that puts two texts or files side by side with line numbers and word-level highlighting, lets you edit either side, copy individual lines across with arrows, undo anything, and export the result as a unified patch. And a hex viewer and editor for reading a file byte by byte, searching it, inspecting values at an offset, and diffing two files against each other.
